Submission Preparation Checklist

As part of the submission process, authors are required to check off their submission's compliance with all of the following items, and submissions may be returned to authors that do not adhere to these guidelines.
  • The submission has not been previously published, nor is it before another journal for consideration (or an explanation has been provided in Comments to the Editor).
  • The submission file is in OpenOffice, Microsoft Word, or RTF document file format.
  • Where available, URLs for the references have been provided.
  • The text is single-spaced; uses a 12-point font; employs italics, rather than underlining (except with URL addresses); and all illustrations, figures, and tables are placed within the text at the appropriate points, rather than at the end.
  • The text adheres to the stylistic and bibliographic requirements outlined in the Author Guidelines.

Author Guidelines

Submission
Manuscripts must be original, unpublished, and not under review elsewhere. All submissions must align with the journal’s scope.

Types of Submissions

  • Research Articles: Max. 4,000 words (excluding abstract and references); max. 20 references

  • Review Articles: Up to 1,500 words

  • Book Reviews: Approx. 1,000 words

  • Research Notes: 1,000–1,200 words

Formatting

  • Use clear academic English (British or American)

  • Submit in MS Word format (.doc/.docx)

  • APA (7th edition) citation style

  • Include a 150–200 word abstract and 4–6 keywords

Review Process
All manuscripts undergo double-blind peer review. We use Turnitin (≤15% similarity allowed) and QuillBot AI check (0% AI-generated content allowed).

Ethics
IJITs follows COPE guidelines. Authors must declare any conflicts of interest and ensure proper authorship attribution.

No Fees
IJITs does not charge any publication or processing fees.
